Matrices - a further mathematics topic!

Matrices - a further mathematics topic!

Naturally, the image had to pay homage to the movie "the matrix", though of course, the film has little relevance to mathematical matrices.  In mathematics, a matrix is a two dimensional array of numbers that has applications in a myriad of distinct mathematical fields.

In the matrices section, you will find information on calculating the inverse of a matrix through the matrix of minor methods and through row operations and the augmented matrix method. You will also find geometric topics covering; rotations and reflections, eigenvalue and eigenvectors and the Cayley Hamilton theorem. Following the link for the Matrices chapter index
